About me
I first became interested in mindfulness around 10 years ago. I had a very busy and stressful job, family life had some challenges, and I was looking for something that I could do, to alleviate the stress and anxiety I was feeling.

I discovered ‘Mindfulness – Finding Peace in a Frantic World’ by Professor Mark Williams and Dr Danny Penman and used the meditations to find some calm and stillness but found it difficult to incorporate the practices more regularly. I dipped in and out of it and continued to develop my knowledge and understanding. I began to focus on it again 2 years ago when I became a Mental Health First Aider, and I started to introduce short meditations to support colleagues.

Having experienced the positive effects of those on myself and others, I decided to train as a Mindfulness Teacher, which was one of the best decisions of my life. I am also an artist and know how therapeutic it can be to participate in creative activities. Having decided to become a Mindfulness Teacher, it seemed the perfect synergy to use the creative process as a means to mindfulness.

I now want to share the benefits of mindfulness practice with you.
